No More Important Date
As of 10:30 pm on June 3, 2026, the Down the Rabbit Hole festival was canceled “due to unforeseen circumstances.”
This explains the lack of response to my email about my profile and begs the question, what are those unforeseen circumstances?
No good comes from speculation, so I will not. I will only say that this is a bummer. This show promised to provide a solid platform for several great artists in a community that might not have heard them yet.
Opportunities to gather as a community, in ways that push us a bit, make us better people. No sarcasm or snark here. I believe festivals and events that cater to a range of communities and bring folks with different perspectives together make our space special. I was looking forward to such an event in my backyard.
All the best to the team, and I hope they get it together for next year.
